Welcome to the Pekin Riding Club
Pekin Riding Club is for anyone who has an interest in horses and is fun for people of all ages. We offer open fun shows that run from May through October.
Our September 12th show is canceled because of wet arenas. Next show is Sept 19th. Pattern classes in the pleasure arena will use Pattern #1. The Pleasure arena challenge class is Egg & Spoon. Speed arena challenge class is Double Barrel Cow Horse. All patterns are found in the handbook. If there is a threat of rain please call our hotline or check our facebook page before trailering.
We have added a makeup show on October 3rd, and with all the rain this year have changed the high point reqiurements so that you only need to participate in 4 shows instead of 5 to be eligible.
We have compiled a history of PRC document from what we could find in old newsletters. Do you have something to add? We are looking forward to your feedback!
